Septic Installation

Septic System Installation Midland, Tx

When a municipal sewer is not available an On Site Sewage Facility, commonly referred to as a septic system, will sever the needs of your home or business well for disposal of sewage. Today’s modern, properly permitted and installed septic systems are very dependable and with a little care and maintenance will typically give 30 to 40 years of dependable service.

Not all septic systems are alike. Your new system will be designed by our septic experts based on your daily water consumption, soil conditions and the layout of your property.

A septic system consists of two major components. The first component is the septic tank. The purpose of the septic tank is to act as the primary treatment unit for the sewage form your home. Anaerobic and facultative bacteria work at breaking down solids over time here. A properly sized tank will allow 2 to 3 days for this primary treatment so the water exiting the tank is free from solids.

From the tank the partially treated water flows on to disposal free of solids where aerobic bacteria take over to finish treating the waste water from your home. There are a number of disposal options such as a gravel and pipe, leaching chamber drain field or surface application just to name a few. By far the most common form of disposal in our area of West Texas is the leaching chamber disposal field. Just like the septic tank, the disposal field must be sized correctly and here’s where your soil conditions play a big part. Soils containing rock or gravel will sometimes require a soil substitution bed system while soils free of rock or gravel will work well for leaching chamber lateral lines. Either way you can rest assured Action Air & Plumbing knows how to design and install the type of system that will work best for you.

Along with the sizing of the system and soil conditions, set back distances are very important and are an important factor in designing a septic system. Minimum distances from property lines, easements, buildings, water wells and water lines must be maintained. Flood zones and flood ways also need to be considered.

For your health and protection Action Air & Plumbing only installs systems that are permitted and inspected which more than meet the State of Texas TCEQ standards. We are confident in the performance of our systems and guarantee them in writing when used as designed.

I had an estimate from another company who stated I needed to replace my drain at a cost of approximately $1,000. So I called Action Air to get a second opinion, and...I was thrilled with the result.
